Ogecha - Brand New Thing

Ogecha is a recording Artist residing in Abuja, Nigeria. Her music can best be described as heartfelt, reflective, inspirational and always enjoyable. She has an album to her credit with hit songs like ‘Dumimaja’, ‘A brand new thing’, ‘Your Word’, ‘My Promise’ and ‘Ubangiji’ which continue to bless lives at home and abroad.

She has been writing songs since she was 14 and has written a great number. It’s quite interesting that this multi-talented artist only discovered she really could sing after hearing her first recording in March 2008 and since then, resolved, with deep convictions, not to let this God-given gift go untapped. She firmly believes that she lives to bring glory and honour to God and expresses her love for Him passionately, especially through her songs.

Ogecha grew up in a loving and supporting home comprising of gifted singers and she acknowledges the influence her family and friends have had on her life which has resulted in the development of her musical talent.

She obtained her first degree as an Industrial Engineer from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. She is also a Fashion Designer and Writer. She is also a lead vocalist with the worship team of RCCG, Throne Room parish, Abuja, Nigeria.

She is married to Obande, a gifted bass player and entrepreneur whose heart’s desire is to see her birth all that God has deposited in her.
